Collection

Collecting is a supportive in-game action during which the users do not simply accumulate in-game items but deliberately search only for those items they need. The user may, for instance, collect various insignias (badges, ranks, and statuses), in-game items (both gained and purchased), or pets.

Strong effect

Collecting is not a mere endless accumulation for the sake of accumulation, but rather a meaningful result-oriented action. The ability to collect is not only a powerful motivational tool but also a way of visualizing the user's experience and progress.

Weak effect

The number of parallel collections should be limited, as they should be easy to view and share. Otherwise, there is a risk for collections to transform from a relevant and necessary in-game feature into an unnecessary and redundant one.

Interaction with elements from the Mechanics deck

Collecting is a complex action, an outcome of an accumulation and search combination. Collections generally include pets, various in-game items, insignias (except for levels), and quests (when there is a set of connected quests in the game).
